The Unscary AI “Your path” screen. It mirrors the member's goal back as “You want to catch up and stop feeling behind,” then shows the four-rung climb, Automate, Standardize, Try and Recognize, with a “You're here” marker on Try.

The tools moved faster than the training

Nearly all marketers report using AI writing and content tools, and surveys keep flagging lack of technical expertise as a top barrier to going further. The tools ship faster than skills develop, so output quality rides on individual guesswork. The fix is not another tool — it is skill, built the way skill has always been built: through practice.

A lesson in progress in the Unscary AI app, titled “Same tool, two answers”. Two short chat exchanges are compared, one from a vague request and one from a request that added “I have chicken and twenty minutes”, then the lesson asks why the second answer fit better and offers three choices.

How Unscary trains marketing AI skills

Unscary teaches by doing: a short lesson introduces a practical technique, then a hands-on rep has you apply it to real working tasks — drafting, rewriting, summarizing, planning. It is the app form of B43's in-person AI training for companies, minus the jargon and the fear.

How it works in the app
