AI training for employees, rebuilt as daily practice

Coming soon to the App Store. We will email you the day it is ready.

The Unscary AI Learn tab: a greeting reading “Welcome back, Sarah”, a Monday-to-Friday week strip showing a self-chosen bar of three lessons a week, and a highlighted next lesson, “What is AI, really?”, with a Start button.

What the research says

“only 36% of employees believe their training is 'enough', with 18% of regular AI users saying they had received no training at all.”

Why generic AI courses do not change behavior

L&D leaders keep seeing the same result: employees finish a course, pass a quiz, and go back to working exactly as before. Workplace research points to why — effective AI training looks like instruction plus coaching and repeated practice, not a video library. Behavior changes when people rehearse real tasks, get feedback, and repeat.

A lesson in progress in the Unscary AI app, titled “Same tool, two answers”. Two short chat exchanges are compared, one from a vague request and one from a request that added “I have chicken and twenty minutes”, then the lesson asks why the second answer fit better and offers three choices.

Where Unscary comes from

Unscary is built by B43, which trains company teams on AI in person. The app takes what works in those rooms — plain language, hands-on exercises, and repetition — and delivers it as short daily lessons and reps employees can do on their phones, without jargon and without fear.

What your employees experience in the app

Each employee gets short lessons that lead straight into hands-on reps. Points and streaks make practice a habit rather than an assignment, and a personal progress report shows growing capability — evidence you can bring to leadership instead of completion certificates.
