AI training that assumes you are capable

Coming soon to the App Store. We will email you the day it is ready.

The Unscary AI “Your path” screen. It mirrors the member's goal back as “You want to catch up and stop feeling behind,” then shows the four-rung climb, Automate, Standardize, Try and Recognize, with a “You're here” marker on Try.

What the research says

“Despite a 20 fold surge in roles demanding generative AI skills and over 50% of employees believing that the skill set will be essential for their role, only one in ten (13%) have been offered any AI training in the last”
Randstad found only about one in ten workers had been offered any AI training in the last year, despite a surge in roles demanding generative AI skills and most employees seeing those skills as essential. Source: www.randstad.com

The problem is not you. It is the training.

Experienced professionals keep getting AI training built for nobody: hype decks on one end, condescending basics on the other. And that is when training exists at all — workforce research finds only a small fraction of workers have been offered any AI training in the past year. Being an expert in your field and new to AI are not in tension. Training should honor both.

Plain language is not the same as dumbed down

Unscary comes from B43's in-person AI training for companies, where the room is full of smart, skeptical professionals. The lessons keep that respect: jargon-free because jargon wastes your time, not because you cannot handle it. Every concept is followed by hands-on reps on realistic work, so you are judged by what you can do — the standard experts prefer.

Setting a weekly goal in the Unscary AI app: “Pick your weekly bar”, with the note “Streaks are weekly here, not daily. Life happens.” and three options: 2 lessons a week (Casual), 3 (Regular), or 5 (Serious).

Pacing that moves as fast as you do

Short daily lessons let you move quickly through what you grasp and drill what you do not. Points and streaks keep the practice honest, and a personal progress report tracks capability, not attendance. It fits inside a full calendar because it was built for people who have one.
